The O’Brien’s Annual Charity Golf Tournament is more than a day on the course—it’s an opportunity to invest in the future of children and families right here in our community.

In 2026, O'Brien's Irish Pub is proud to support The Plains Community League (TPCL) and its incredible Summer Camp program. For many local children, TPCL's Camp is more than summer fun. It’s a place where they are safe, encouraged, challenged, and surrounded by adults who believe in them. Every day is filled with friendships, creative learning, swimming, field trips, sports, STEM activities, music, and experiences many of these children might never have otherwise.

But what makes TPCL's Camp truly special isn’t the activities—it’s the people.

Children learn compassion by comforting classmates during difficult times. They learn leadership by becoming Counselors-in-Training. They discover confidence by trying new things, solving problems together, and realizing they are capable of more than they ever imagined.

Demand for the program continues to grow every year, with far more families applying than available spaces. Your participation in this tournament helps make it possible for more children to experience a summer filled with opportunity, mentorship, and hope. It also helps support TPCL’s year-round programs, including free after-school tutoring, community events, scholarships, and the preservation of the historic John Page Turner Community House that serves as the heart of these programs.
