Summer Camp 2026

Applications for TPCL’s Summer Camp opened on March 20 and will close on April 17. We’ll be sharing placement decisions by April 20—thank you to everyone who applied!

This year, we’re excited to offer two four-week, full-day camp sessions instead of one eight-week session. That means we’ll be able to welcome twice as many campers as last year!

TPCL’s Free Summer Camp provides a safe, fun, and engaging environment for local children ages 6–12. Campers enjoy a mix of educational activities, outdoor play, and creative programming—all while receiving nutritious meals and snacks each day. We’re proud that this program remains one of the only high-quality, full-day camps in Fauquier County offered completely free of charge. It’s built around values like inclusion, kindness, and environmental awareness.

We’re also continuing our Counselors-in-Training program for teens ages 13–14. These young leaders gain hands-on experience working with campers, building confidence and skills that prepare them for future jobs and community involvement.

Summer Camp is our largest (and most costly) program and truly a community effort. It takes a dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and supporters to make it happen—from providing meals and supplies to organizing activities and transportation. We’re especially grateful to the more than 50 local nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers who contribute their time, resources, and generosity each year—many returning again and again to support this special program.
